Diagnostic imaging is a critical first step in most medical journeys. But in much of rural and remote Canada, getting a routine ultrasound or X-ray can mean a day’s travel and weeks of waiting. For a young family in Wabasca, an elder in Onion Lake, or a patient managing chronic pain in Crowsnest Pass, that distance is more than an inconvenience. It’s a barrier to care.
Wosler Diagnostics was founded to close that gap. We bring full-scope outpatient imaging to communities that have historically had to leave town for it, while keeping the same standards of care patients expect from a major centre.
Today we operate 18 clinics across three provinces: 11 locations in Alberta, 6 in Saskatchewan, and 1 in Nova Scotia. Some sit inside host clinics in small towns. Others serve First Nations health centres on a dedicated weekly schedule. Each one is held to the same clinical standard.
And we keep growing.
Our mission is to make high-quality diagnostic imaging available to every Canadian who needs it, regardless of geography or income.
We do this with experienced clinical teams, modern equipment, and a clinic network designed to reach the communities that need us most. For most patients, that means same-week ultrasound appointments, walk-in X-ray at our Calgary location, and digital reports sent securely to your referring physician.
A Canada where a patient in Onion Lake has the same access to imaging as a patient in downtown Calgary. Clinics close to home. Modern equipment. Qualified clinicians. Connected systems that keep care moving forward, not patients.
Getting there takes physical clinics and the technology to extend specialist expertise into communities that don’t have it locally. We’re investing in both.
Ultrasound at every clinic. X-ray and pain management at our flagship Calgary location.
All delivered by experienced clinical teams.
Reaching rural communities at scale takes more than physical clinics.
Our parent company, Wosler Corp, builds the technology that extends specialist expertise across a continent.
Teleoperated ultrasound robotics. A certified sonographer in Calgary can perform a scan on a patient hundreds of kilometres away.
Automates calls, requisitions, and bookings. Fully integrated with RIS/EMR systems. Frees clinic staff to focus on patients.
